In our latest addition project, we were tasked with almost doubling the square footage of a home. As it exists, this three-bedroom, two bath home was too small to comfortably house all of its residents. With the new addition, the house gains three bedrooms, each bigger than their predecessors, and two bathrooms.

The Master bedroom, previously about the size of a standard room and lacking privacy, has been relocated to the back of the addition, well away from the loud living spaces, and given a suite-like set up, including an expanded bathroom and walk-in closet, as well as private access to the new porch. The Master Bathroom will feature a supersized shower enclosure with a free standing tub and two-person shower combo that will be the focus of the room and will create a spa inspired, refreshing space to relax in.

The entire addition, will also feature vaulted ceilings to give the spaces a larger, airier and grander feel, allowing the natural light from the windows and porch access to filter through the house.

We relocated the kitchen to the space that was previously taken up by the living room in order to give more flow to the living spaces. The new kitchen, with its open concept, will feature a large island with space for bar stools, a commercial grade refrigerator, and a contemporary farm house style makeover.
